With the advent of ipod’s, laptops and ipad’s, you’d be forgiven for thinking that a travel dvd player is a little old-hat.

However, contrary to that belief, they’re still pretty popular and selling very well!

There are many reasons for choosing a travel DVD player over a more hi-tech piece of equipment.

For instance, many people prefer a portable DVD player because it’s so convenient to take along on a long trip with young children.

Parents are generally happier for the kids to be in the back seat watching their favorite cartoons on a compact DVD player, rather than on a more expensive, more high-tech machine.
